S18 7TE 1. ‘Hand stitched book’ Create your own personalized book with a hard backed decorative cover, using simple or complex stitching methods. The exposed stitched spine forms part of the decorative effect. One of these books should be completed during the day workshop. Use as a notebook, sketch book, journal, memento book, photos, etc. The possibilities are endless. Date: Saturday 14 September 2013 Time: 10 - 4 pm 2. ‘Long stitch spine’ This is a traditional method of constructing a book. Create an individual book with a wrap around cover, using simple or complex stitching methods. The stitching forms a decorative pattern on the cover, one of these books should be completed during the day workshop. Use as a notebook, sketch book, journal, memento book, photos, etc. The possibilities are endless.
